Description

Stainless Steel & Red Carnelian

An artefact of the flesh, suspended somewhere between adornment and affliction.

Handcrafted from stainless steel using Catholic Guilt’s proprietary Alien Flesh Wound technique, Fragment I is an intricate assemblage of interwoven metal, sculptural wounds and delicate cascading chains. At its centre, deep red carnelian emerges from the metallic flesh like a precious organ exposed beneath the skin.

Part jewellery, part bodily relic, the piece wraps around the wrist and extends across the hand, blurring the distinction between ornamentation and anatomy.

A fragment of the Catholic Guilt universe, designed to appear less like something worn upon the body and more like something growing from within it.
